It is a work that must first be observed, in order to then be able to see.
This art piece is a complex context that I cannot completely summarize in words. It is contradictory and sensible, like life itself. And, in some way, it applies to everything.
It is a work to be discovered. Painting/sculpture in high relief, with removable and interactive pieces and hidden characters.
THE MORE YOU SEE, THE MORE YOU FIND.
As above, so below.Above are the trees, the branches, human beings, and birds. It is the divine, spiritual, and liberating part: ideas, thoughts, freedom.
The birds also represent those angelic beings that connect the human with the earthly and the divine...
But everything we see above continues below. The roots are the foundations of the trees, of life, and of everything that exists. Everything is part of the same principle.
Nothing above could exist without that which supports it below.
In the center, humanoid faces appear, separating from one another. They represent cells, the beginning of everything.
A cell that multiplies and generates life, like a first explosion, like the Big Bang.
An idea that, for me, is repeated in everything we call life: something is born, divides, expands, and thus multiplies, like a chain reaction.
The spiritual aspect of Creation is also present, inspired by the renowned section of "Cappella Sistina", where the divine and the human connect.
Halfway up, in the upper section, one of my series,
“Aquí Anclo Mi Sonrisa”, is included.
For me, it represents a perfect balance. It fills my soul to discover how a series that was born in a certain era, at a certain moment and stage of my life, can naturally become part of a work from another era.
This confirms to me that there is a coherence in my thoughts and feelings over the long term.
The upper part, which forms part of the head, represents my creative side: the pencil, the brush, creativity, and that life that is constantly growing.
