“I appreciate art because I appreciate life no matter what!  Art is life.   and life is  an art that we must learn how to live”

 

Born in Belize, with mexican citizenship now.

 

 I paint without being at any art school before.  I’m a self-taught artist.  I’ve learned throughout observation and meditation, and then from impulse and desire, appear then my art works.    

 

I remember drawing before I learned how to write when I was a child and eventually I was discovering and devoleping the exciting feelling for drawing and painting.  

 

Ever since, I’ve been in touch with brushes, pencils and canvas, always learning.   

 

In 2002 while living in the USA, I had the chance to paint murals for Mexican restaurants but also in canvas, making portraits, and always experimenting with new techniques, new materials, always learning about art, finding my way on the field. 

 

Working also in restaurants and construction to pay bills but always with my heart in art.  Now living in Playa del Carmen, I compare art with life as a journey that we must know how to enjoy. 

 

I enjoy painting a landscape the same as I enjoy painting an abstract work.
