He graduated in Mechanical Industrial Design from the "Fernando Aguado y Rico" Polytechnic Institutein 1988.
Between 1987 and 1995, he studied photography under Professor Roberto Rodríguez D'Cal.
Since 1996, he has been accredited as a member of the "Víctor Manuel" Gallery, part of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets (as an independent creator).
He also designed the book covers for the volumes of "From Alchemy to Chemistry" (1995 Edition, ISBN 959-05-0121-4).
