INTERACTIVE PAINTINGS

They’re born from Gastón Charó’s need to go against conventions by giving to the same art piece changeable and diverse appearance.

The artist creates different parts that can be added or swapped between paintings.

Elements like eyes, mouth and sentences can be replaced according to what the owner of the art piece wants to covey, depending on the occasion or his state of mind.

​Therefore the possibility of having different pieces in one same painting is developed, creating a strong connection between the art piece and the observer, thanks to the interaction between the two.
